This sprawling real estate development was the creation of Koll Resorts International,
a subsidiary of The Koll Company, which is based in Newport Beach, California.
During 1991 with our company's president, John Solis, at the helm, Jack Nicklaus'
Signature Ocean golf course was initiated. This magnificent golf course featuring
seven golf holes playing along the Sea of Cortes, immediately captivated the golfing
public, and is currently rated as number 69 among the top 100 golf courses in the world.
Mr. Solis states, "Our intent to create a masterpiece, as well as an anchor for the
development and recognition within Mexico with the Ocean golf course surpassed our own
expectations, as not only was Mexico finally on the world's golfing map but this golf
course set the standard for those to come not only in Los Cabos but in all of Mexico
and effectively competing with some of the world's greatest golf courses".
